Too late, I spent the £130. I nearly bought a blank off ebay. They told me at the garage that they could no longer calibrate blanks as Renault were now insisting that chassis number was encoded in France and then sent to UK for set up. Sounds like a rip off. On tyres, I recently had a tyre losing air around the valve due to corrosion on the seat. Garage said that lots of garages would just replace the whole valve (£40). They just cleaned around seat, greased it and it works fine. Finally I have an intermittant error message on "Fuel injection failure" it kicks in the limp home device and restricts the revs to about 2000. If you turn off it resets. Garage can't find anything wrong? Any ideas? Rick
