We said Rick on all counts. I am surprised what you said about "as a bonus, your computer network is distributed around the house for free" I didn't realise you could piggy back a PC LAN via the Sonos network. I will give that a try.

Ref the Network share and setup all I would like to add is I am finding less and less people are using their owns shares in favour of a system which with a reliable internet connect and for a small payment per month gives you ALL the lates music and millions of the old - A collection of over 6 million tracks and stuff you just can't buy... and that system is Napster in conjunction with Sonos. Never be without new music again and find all that old stuff you remember when you were growing up!

p.s. We setup boats with Sonos via our Sonos Marine web and we obviously don't have internet on a boat and the sonos can be setup and works great... you don't even have to have a DHCP if you know what to do!

Regards

Hi Paddy, sorry to be so long in replying, I have been away. I have not used the Sonos with Pandora but I believe that you are right, you need a US payment method. For the free service, which is also supposed to be US restricted, then just putting in a ZIP code is sufficient, just pick one at random from a US web site; but for the paid service you would need to be more inventive. The problem is apparently getting licence agreement. It is a pity because of all the music streaming services, it does seem to be the best.

Do you know if it is possible to get the Sonos working in the UK with Pandora? Does it just not work or is it a question of having a US payment method?
Cheers!
