		<description>When you Hibernate it certainly works. For Standby it may depend on how your machine is set up. There are 4 levels of standby:&#8212;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;S1 = The CPU and Memory remain ON and certain other peripherals (like the graphics and sound cards) may also remain on.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;S2 = Shuts down the CPU.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;S3 = Shuts down the CPU and all peripherals but leaves the memory on.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;S4 = Also shuts down the memory and is functionally like hibernate so not a lot of use.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
You need to go into the BIOS power management screen to select the right option, the most useful is S3 unless you have special requirements. On my system, when I do that, sufficient is shut down to trigger the Intelliplug.</description>

		<description>How does this work if you put your machine into standby?  Does the PC power-supply drop it's load enough to trigger the inteliplug?  I'm not sure if I would want the peripherals to be switched off or not.</description>
