This is set to come up every 18,000 miles and some independent mechanics don&#8217;t know how to reset it.<\/p>\n<p>With the key in the ignition (it doesn&#8217;t matter if the engine is running) press the button on the end of the stick to scroll through the trip computer settings. The one you want should have a static spanner and the number zero and is the seventh (and last) one from the start.<\/p>\n<p>Now press the reset button on the dashboard and hold it in.
