Until they used the word, it was not one that I had come across. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crosswordsolver.org\/definition\/F\/fuddle\">dictionary meaning<\/a> relates to confusion caused by alcohol, preferably lots of it (which generally suits them) but this doesn&#8217;t match yesterday&#8217;s event which was necessarily sober and planned.<\/p>\n<p>What they have is an indoor bring-and-share picnic. As far as I can tell, this meaning of the word is localised to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.derbyhomes.org\/Community\/News\/Sinfin_Community_Panels_Christmas_fuddle.htm\">Derbyshire<\/a> and perhaps <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outeverywhere.com\/events\/breakout-290408_590223.html\">Nottingham<\/a>.
