Example: the Temple Meads tempree flyover, a ramshackle girder structure built during the post-war regeneration that was still in regular use into the early &#8217;80s. Opposite of Permnunt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So when Alistair Darling says that Northern Rock will go into a &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/business\/2008\/feb\/19\/northernrock.banking1\">temporary<\/a> period of public ownership,&#8221; we know exactly what he means.
