Will

In the name of God Amen on the 10th. day of August. The ----- yeare of the raigne of out most Gratious Soveraigne Ladie Elizabeth by the Grace of God of England France and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith ----- 1607.

I Wiliam Gibbes of the Pishe of Sancreed in the County of Cornwall Husbandman beinge in my perfect mynde and memory do make my laste will and testament in manner and forme followinge.

First, I bequeath my soule to Allmyghtie God and my body to be burryed in the Holy ground -----.

Item, I give toward the maytaynance and reporation of the Church of Sancreed -------[?].

Item, I give and bequeth unto my sonne John Gibbes -----[?]

I give and bequeth unto my sonne John ----[?]

Item, I give and bequeth to every one of my sonnes children -----[?].

Item, I give and bequeth to every one of the ----- children -----[?].

Item, I give and bequeth to John Rowe my son in law to every one of his children -----[?].

Item, I give and bequeth to every one of Bennett ------[?] is children -----[?].

Item, I give and bequeth unto Johan my daughter to every one of her children ----[?].

Item, I give and bequeth unto Will my sonne, Thoms his sonne a heiffer of two yeares old.

Item, I give and bequeth unto ------ my sonne Thomas his daughter a ------[?] and my will is that if Gods will to take any of those children out of this ----- ------ ------ that then this my bequest to remayne unto the rest ----- behynd.

And for all the rest of my goods and chattells nott given nor bequethed moveable and unmoveable I do gyve and bequeth unto -------[?] my wife whom I do make my full and whole executor and she sattysfy and fullfill this my last will and testament.

And now ---- for the ---- of this my last will and testament to be fullfylled in manner aforesaid.

In the name of God on ye --- day of Septmber in the yeare of our Lord God 1621 ; I John Gibbe of Newlyn East Pfect of memory ( Ye prayse bee to God ) doe ----- ordayne and make this my last will and testament for manner and forme followeth.

Imprimo.I comend my soule unto Allmighty God my creator and my body to Christian Burriall.

Item, I give unto ye poore of Newlyn Prish ---[?]

Item, I give and beequeath unto Jone my daughter to bee payd unto her when she shall accomplish ye yeere of 21 yeeres.

Item, I give unto Margery my daughter to bee payd unto her when she shall be of the age of 21 yeare alsoe.

Item, I give unto my Samuell my sonne to bee payd him when hee shall accomplish ye age of 21 yeeres.

Item, I give unto Peeter my sonne to bee payd him when hee shall bee of ye age of 21 alsoe.

Item, I give unto Marke my sonne to bee payd him when hee shall bee of ye age of 21 yeeres alsoe.

Item, I give unto Jane my daughter too bee payd her when she shall be of ye age of 21 yeeres.

Item, I give unto Philipp my daughter too bee payd her when she shall bee of ye age of 21 yeares.

Item, My will is that if any or either of these my children doo dye before they or either of them shall be of ye age that is above limited, for the payment of their portions that then their portion remayne and bee delivered unto the survivors of them by equal portion amonge them.

Item, I give unto Richard Gibbes my brother.

Item, I give unto Thomas Gibbes my brother.

The rest of all my goods and chattells ----- and ------ of yeere determinable on ---- ---- where and elsewhere I doo beequeth unto Jone my wife whom I doo make and ordayne my sole Executor to pay my ---- ----- my last will ----- -----. In the name of God Amen the Fower and Twentieth day of Ffebruary Anno Dom 1637 I Jone Gibbe of ------ ------ in the Parish of Newlyn in the County of Cornwall Widdow being Sicke ib body but perfect of remembrance thanks bee to Almighty God do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and fforme followinge.

Ffirst. I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer and my body to Christian Buryall.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Jone and Margery my two eldest daughters within one yere after my death three score pounds, that is to say to each of them thirty pounds.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my sonnes Peter and Marke within two yeres after my death three score pounds. That is to say to each of them thirty pounds.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Philip my third daughter within four yeres after my death fforty pounds.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Janemy youngest daughter within five yeres after my death fforty pounds.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Nathaniel the sonne of William Gibbe my kinsman one yeere lamb.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Anne the sister of the said Nathaniel one yeere lamb.

Item. I give and bequeath unto the poore of the parish of Newlyn ten shillings to be dystributed among them from the ffirst Sunday after my ffunerall.

Item. All the rest of my goods and chattells not given nor bequeathed I do give and bequeath unto Samuell Gibbe my oldest sonne whom I make my whole and full Executor and to perform all this my legacyes.

In the name of God amen I william Prater of the Parish of Newlyn in the County of Cornwall being sicke in bodye but p.ficte of memory thanks be to Almightye God, doo make and ordayne this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge.

First. I give and bequeath my sole to Almightye God my Maker and Redeemer and my Bodye to Christian buriall.

Item.Whereas I was to have ffortye pounds of Thomas Restell in marying his daughter unto my sonn Thomas Prater, the ------ I have not yett -------, my will and maening is that the said ffortye pounds should be payde unto my sonne Thomas and he to have it durringe the life of my wife Anne and after her death my will is that Thomas my sonne shall pay, and in the meane time shall ------- to be paid, unto my three daughters now unmarried the some of ffortye pounds to be equally divided betwene them, to be paid them within four years after my Wifes death.. That then and upon that condition that my three daughters be secured of the ffortye pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my sonne Thomas the tenement that now I dwell in -------- to have and to hould the said tenement unto the said Thomas Prater his executors or assigns imediatly after the death of Anne my wife. ----------- the confirminance of my lease under the bond and ----- ----- ----- in apprasal.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Jone Prater my daughter the some of ffortye markes lawfull monyes of England.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Margery my daughter the some of ffortye markes lawfull monye of England.

Item. I give and bequeath unto Prewdence my daughter ffortye makkes of lawfell monye of England.

All the rest of my goods and chattels not given nor bequeathed I give and bequeath unto Anne my wife whome I doo make Executor to her my last will -------- and my debts paid.

The trew and pfect invitorie of all the goods and chattells of Christopher Daniell of the pish of Newline in ------ in the countie of Cornwall deceased made and praised by Nicholas ---- ----- and Willm. Gibbes the 26th day of May Ano Dom 1607.

In the name of God amen the 20th. day of ------ Anno Dom 1607 I Agnes Daniell of the Parish of Newlyn in the County of Cornwall Widdow do make and ordain this my last testament.

Contaynnge here in my last will in manner and formme following.

First I commend my soule to Almyghtie God my Maker and Redeemer and my bodie for Christian Burriall.

Item. I give and bequeath unto the poor mens boxe of Crantock ------.

I give unto the poor mens boxe of St. ----- ------ ------ ------ ------- -------, my brother ----- pay more.

I give unto Jone and Margerie my sonne in law is two daughters one silver spoon, a peare of silver ------ and one silver spoon ------ is ------ to make each of them a peare of -------[?].

Next I give unto Jone Gibbes my sonne in law is daughter my -------[?].

Next I give unto Richard Stephen -------[?]. Next I give unto Catherine ------- -------[?].

Next I give unto Peter ------ ------. Next I give unto James Elward ------[?]. I give unto Nicholas ------ -------[?]. Next I give unto Thomasin ------- -------[?]. Next I give unto ------ -------[?]. Next I give unto Christian ----- -----[?].

Next I give unto my two brothers Thomas Dungie and Mychell Dungie fortie shillings lawfull monies and they to dispose and distribute it to my godchildren in the house and ----- the children to their discretion. After they have paid out the same so much monies as was and is now ----- unto William Dungie from my husband Christopher Daniell deceased. And also to pay out of the ----- to Crantock and ----- ------ of St. -------- as in before given.

Next I give and bequeath to my god children to everie each of them ------ apiece. Except my brothers children before -------.

Next I give and bequeath unto Jone, Margerie, Samuell my sonne in law John Gibbe is children fortie shillings apeece to everie each of them. To ----- to ---- for them.

The rest of my goods, chattels and monies not given nor bequeathed I do give and bequeath unto John Gibbes my sonne in law whom I doo make my full and whole executor to so my legacies ----- ------ and this my last wyll performed.

In witness whereof I have hereunto put my signe in presence of those under written the day and year above specified.
